Зуд является распространенным симптомом дерматозов у кошек и собак. Примерно у 80% кошек, испытывающих зуд, основными его причинами являются различные реакции гиперчувствительности1. У собак наиболее частыми причинами дерматологического зуда также становятся аллергические реакции2.
Глюкокортикоиды (ГКС) наряду с минералокортикоидами являются гормонами, синтезируемыми корой надпочечников. С тех пор как было открыто противовоспалительное действие природного гормона гидрокортизона, в поисках препаратов с максимальной эффективностью и минимальными побочными эффектами было синтезировано множество искусственных кортикостероидов. Данные препараты считаются одними из наиболее широко применяемых в ветеринарии, в том числе и в дерматологии.
